About Us

At ReWed, you are able to choose from new, samples, or gently pre-owned wedding dresses, formal gowns and rental tuxedos. After the wedding, sell your dress by consigning it with us. We do all the work, your items get exposure to hundreds of brides and your dress will be expertly matched with someone who is sure to love it as much as you.

ReWed started as a one day wedding event where couples could rent a booth at a wedding venue to sell their wedding dresses or décor. These events were so successful that we decided to open a permanent retail space to help brides shopping on a budget.

Our Story

ReWed is more than just a boutique—it’s a dream brought to life, created to make formalwear shopping affordable, fun, and stress-free. Located in the heart of historic Front Royal, VA, ReWed offers a unique shopping experience where you can find new, sample, and gently pre-owned wedding dresses, formal gowns, and tuxedo rentals, all under one charming roof.

Our story began in 2013, when our founder, Stephanie, got married. Like many brides, she wanted the wedding of her dreams without breaking the bank. From DIY flowers and decorations to carefully budgeting every detail, Stephanie understood the challenges of staying within budget—especially when it came to the dress. After struggling to find a safe and affordable place to shop for a pre-owned wedding dress, the idea for ReWed was born. What started as a one-day resale event has now grown into a permanent storefront where style, affordability, and sustainability come together.

Stephanie saw a need in the community for a space where brides could shop confidently, try on dresses in person, and be treated like royalty—without the hefty price tag. After hosting two successful wedding resale events, she realized it was time to create something more permanent. That dream became a reality in Front Royal, VA, chosen for its scenic beauty, small-town charm, and central location. Nestled right off the Shenandoah mountains, it’s the perfect destination for a bridal day trip.

Today, ReWed operates out of a newly renovated 4,600 sq. ft. space at 21 S. Royal Avenue. Housed in a historic schoolhouse from the late 1800s, the boutique now features two stories, individual rooms for each type of product (pageant gowns, short dresses, long dresses, shoes, wedding gowns), two private fitting areas, and a relaxing atmosphere perfect for saying “yes” to the dress. Whether you're looking for a wedding gown, formalwear, or a tuxedo rental, our mission is to make every guest feel comfortable, excited, and celebrated.

And when the big day is over? We’ve got you covered. ReWed also accepts consignments, connecting your gently loved dress with a new bride who’ll treasure it just as much. We handle all the hard work—so you don’t have to.

Stephanie was super kind and allowed me to try on some (even though an appointment is usually required) because it was in the week and there no appointments booked at that time. I shared my vision along with some photos of the dress I tried on that I absolutely loved from a different store and we were able to find the one! I put a hold on it to come by the next day with my mom and we packed it up and paid and brought it home the next day! It fit perfectly and only needed alterations for the bottom to be shortened a tad. She has such a vast collection of dresses for all different occasions. I got a one of a kind!

She was able to get my dress to her seamstress that night and put a rush order on it so I could have it done in time for my wedding. I just picked the dress up and it fits beautifully. ReWed Bridal is a gem of a place with reasonable prices, friendly people and quality work.
